H&M satin.  The Satin Strappy Top in black.  A V-neck top in woven fabric with lace details and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps, £12.99.  The Knee-Length Satin Skirt comes quite a bit below my knees.  A midi lined skirt with slits to the sides in dark blue,  £24.99 down to £7.99.

Two New Look midi skirts, essentially the same skirt, one's a little longer than the other but that couple of inches makes for a different vibe.  The Grey Sheer Pleated Half Lined Midi Skirt, £17.99 down to £4 and the Petite Lilac Sheer Pleated Layered Midi Skirt, was £9, now down to £5.  Two nice skirts for less than a tenner, impressive shopping.

Boohoo stuff.  The Annabelle Wrap Over Blouse in black, £14.   The Skye Peplum Hem Lace Midi Skirt in black, was £20, down to £8 and the Mai Bohemian Drop Hem Button Front Midi Skirt, £15.

New shoes.  The Topshop Gretal Animal Print V-Cut Block Heel, a stupendously striking statement V-cut throat and 95mm block heel, £49.  The Timberland Kiri Up Sneaker in jet black, I'm in sneaker lurve.  So beautiful, so light, so comfortable, there's things Timberland have done to these trainers that I didn't even know existed in a trainer, for instance, they're beautiful.  I've always regarded a trainer to be a clunky shoe best avoided, until now.  There's something going on at the ankle bit, it's like slipping your foot into a soft comfy bedsock, a neoprene stretch fit ankle support.  A flexible and stabilising two-part EVA midsole is apparently what I've to thank for the foot support.  I have a high instep, this shoe meets my instep with it's built-in arch support.  The outsole gives the heel support.  Supportive and stylish with eye-catching details like a rubber heel strap and wedge sole to support.  Features a dual lacing system for two lacing options...erm I don't even understand that, the two choices I do understand, you either spend £85, or sign up for the 10% discount first.

A supply of cotton cardigans from H&M have arrived, dark blue, blue marl and black, £9.99 and there's a 25% off basics flash sale.  I never pay full price at H&M, the prices I quote here are the full price, but there's ALWAYS a discount code available.  The H&M Jersey Midi Pencil Skirt £8.99.

H&M Long Strappy Top in the black and in the dark blue marl, with adjustable straps, £3.99.  Fine-Knit Jumper in dark grey and in dark blue and blue grey, £17.99.  V-Neck Top in dark blue, £8.99.  Smart Stretch Trousers in black, two press-studs at the waist, zip fly, zipped front pockets, jetted back pockets and slim, straight legs. £24.99.

Favourite relaxed basics from H&M.  Linen Jersey Top in dark grey, £8.99.  V Neck Linen Top, marl grey, down from £12.99 to £4.49.  Fine-Knit Cardigan in the black and the grey marl, £8.99.  Hooded Jacket £17.99.  Linen Top in black and light pink, £12.99, the long sleeved Linen V Neck Top, £17.99 and the Jersey Maxi Skirt with side splits, £12.99.

A see-it-love-it must-have.  The Hazel Studded Backless Sandal With Open Toe in black faux suede from Ego.  £24.99.

The M&S Collection Block Heel Court Shoes with Insolia in the silver, £19.50.  So comfy, so silvery, so love them.

Sterling silver star earrings, because suddenly work won't permit diamonds, which I've worn for the last, what? Ten years I'm guessing.  Anyways, through gritted teeth, Silver Star Earrings, first pair bought at Amazon, the Dew Women's Solid Star Sterling Silver Stud Earrings, width 7mm, £10.29.

An adjustable Sterling Silver Blue Crystal Ring with a tanzanite (violet blue) Swarovski crystal from Aminah Andrew, only £16, available on Etsy and NuMonday.

I've given in and purchased a camera bag.  OK, more accurately this time...another camera bag.  This one is different, not a fashion camera bag.  I discovered I need a normal, purely functional camera bag.  My other camera bag is a gorgeous leather Grafea camera bag, however, it turned out to be too heavy to carry around avec camera and equipment.  I had to admit fashion defeat and buy a lightweight, nylon (shudder) actual camera bag.  However, the Grafea bag will become a handbag instead, or an ornament looking pretty in the walk-in-wardrobe, win-win really.  This hasn't been easy for me, but what a difference it makes, I can now go out and about with my camera equipment without feeling like leaving it in the car to save me all the humping and bumping.  I eventually went with the Crumpler Proper Roady Photo Sling 4500 in black nylon, (280 x 100 x 190 mm) and at a mere 545g, this is useable.  £69.99 at Amazon.  When I am out and about I look at photographers and growl at them with their fancy-smancy tripods, so I took the plunge and got myself a wee starter tripod.  An Amazon Basics 127cm (50") Lightweight Tripod with Bag.  An easily and smoothly adjustable-height tripod made of lightweight aluminum, I lurve the colour and it weighs just over a pound.  It has a 3-way head allowing for tilt and swivel motion, portrait and landscape options, 3-section lever-lock legs for easy height adjustments, extends up to 127 cm (50 inches), measures 42 cm (16.5 inches) collapsed and comes in a zippered storage bag, £13.99.  I also had to find a leather camera strap of an appropriate to me length and this is a task and a half due to most quality straps I looked at being either ugly, brown and most usually...too long.  I found the 1901 fotografi leiter STEICHEN Leather Camera Strap in the short 90cm length and the Stereo Black colour option which means the strap is black on both sides, it's rather lovely, perfect actually...sleek, attractive, comfortable, classy and of good quality.  Craftspersonship.

New stuff from H&M.  The Pleated Tulle Skirt, a lined knee-length pleated skirt in tulle with elastic waistband, £14.99. The slim-fit Biker Trousers in soft imitation suede with zipped front pockets and a zip at the hems, £39.99.  Ankle-length Tuxedo Trousers in a stretch weave with satin details and stripes down the sides, a regular waist with a hook-and-eye fastener at the front, back welt pockets and slim legs, £24.99.  The Top With A Woven Front in dark grey, a jersey top with a crêpe chiffon front, 3/4-length sleeves, a chest pocket, seam centre back and gently rounded hem with short slits in the sides, all that for only £9.99.  The Long-Sleeved Top, a jersey top with a yoke and sleeves in transparent mesh fabric, £12.99.  Rib-knit jumper, a V-neck, long-sleeved jumper in a soft, rib-knit viscose blend with a sheen, £17.99.  The Long-Sleeved Blouse, in a woven fabric with a gathered yoke at the back, buttoned cuffs, slits in the sides and slightly longer at the back, in black, also in the black glitter, £14.99.
