My new favourite wellie boot is the Fouganza Schooling Boot.  It's a very stylish horse-riding waterproof wellie boot and it's ridiculously, only £12.99.  Got a couple pairs along with a load of the Quechua Trek 100 Adult Fleece Mountain Trekking Gloves, only £1.49.

Xmas pressies.  Somehow Santa found out Karl Lagerfeld is my new favourite handbag guy.  Pressie 1 is the Karl Snaps Small Shoulder Bag, Pressie 2 the Karl Studs Minaudière.  Handbag heaven.  Pressie 3 is the Christine Sadler Sterling Silver Scotland Charm Bracelet with an Aquamarine stone placed on the map where I was born.  Pressie 4 is the Astrid Watch from Swedish company Mockberg.

This dark grey Star Pullover from Danish company Only can be got at Amazon.  I find it sizes big, so if you wear a 10 or even a 10-12 get the small and it'll hang nice in a roomy way.  £22 with Prime delivery too.

New handbag. When I retired and the girls at work did the collection for the leaving I was asked by the nominated insider friend person, also known as Friend C or Charge Nurse.  I insisted I'd rather have the cash money as I'm notoriously difficult to buy for and I hate money being spent of something I wouldn't use, it really had to be something I really really really liked, or it'd be an awful waste of money.  I've been using some of my now copious free time to find that special something, a bag or jewellery and I found the Karl Lagerfeld Snaps Bowling Tote Bag.  £289 at Farfetch, but with a cheeky wee 15% discount code, down to £245.  I love a discount.  I also love this bag, the design, the silvertone metalwork detailing, the colour, the genuine leather.  And the size, I liked the tote and shoulder bag versions too, but one was too big and the other too small, this is just right.

I really struggle to keep a stiletto high heel shoe on my feet these days, I need more strappy.  I got strappy and purchased the M&S Cross Strap Court Shoe with the fabulous red feature heel and the M&S Insolia technology providing extra support for the feet and the Anna Field Classic Heels and the Dorothy Perkins Elisha both at Zalando.

I was looking for a dressy jegging, in the end I went with the Black Eden Super Soft Jegging from Dorothy Perkins.  Down to £15 a pair.  Mid-rise, pull-on, flat-fronted, super-soft stretch-denim and a smooth look with faux-front pockets and fly detailing.  The appearance of a skinny jean and the comfort of a legging.

It took a hellava lot of research but I've found my perfect tourist travel lens and it's fabulous.  Want to take just one lens for great photies in lowlight church or cathedral interiors, streets, architecture, museum display cabinets, landscapes, all of that stuff?  The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm 1:2.8 PRO.  See below, without and with hood.  Capable of capturing a stunning range of different pin-sharp beautiful coloured photies, even in low light, up close and distant.  This is the one when you can only take one.

Bit of a change in my swag shopping priorities these days.  Photography has taken over my life.  I treated myself to the best wildlife lens, the Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm 1:4.0 IS PRO.  Purchased with the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital MC-14 1.4x Teleconverter to take my photography up a couple of notches.  To take it even further I might have to get another Olympus camera too.  Prior to this lens I captured fantastic pictures of Tree Sparrow and chick using the 75-300mm on a tripod with remote control thingy, with this lens and converter on my Pen F I've got handheld pics just as good and even better, that's amazing.
